what do you mean by "error status 201"? is it HTTP status 201? or you're getting an error while rendering? how can I reproduce that?

It's the error I get from Chrome developer's console.

But since I submit this bug report, I dug more into the issue and I think it boils down to the fact that the image is not a real file sitting somewhere in the server, but it's generated.

And that's why reproducing it for you is complicate. We're using JWT (Java Web Toolkit, not the json web token) to create an img tag via WImage class, which contains a reference to a dynamically generated image coming from a WRasterPaintDevice, hence not a real image file.
So you would need to setup a JWT webapp, in order to test it.

All I can say is that we're currently using html2canvas, and it works fine (but we don't like it as much as we do with domToImage ;) )
