I can also confirm this issue.

However, I only see this behaviour on my iPad, not on my iPhone. Here are two screenshots on both devices.

Hi guys,

I have looked into this issue. I could reproduce your problem by removing the icon fonts. When Safari (on iOS) can't find the icons / icon font, it will replace the icons with emoji).

Check that assets/fonts/ have the correct file permissions and that they exist.

Without the icon font:

@jillesme Thanks for the reply to this! In my ghost/core/client/assets/fonts/ folder I have four files. They are icons.eot icons.svg icons.ttf and icons.woff which I assume is all of the icons files? What permissions should they be? Currently they are all set to 644 which I assume should be fine?
