I have a statement for this kind of checks (a little bit older) which does naming convention checks based on pl/scope data and some regexp if you wish.
from plsql-and-sql-coding-guidelines.
Currently some naming conventions may be checked via
- a custom validator for PL/SQL Cop
- a plscope-utils view
plscope_naming
that covers also chapter 2.2 - a plscope-utils for SQL Developer report that covers also chapter 2.2
What is missing are some tooling to check Database Object Naming Conventions. If you have scripts/queries in this area, then this would be very helpful. Maybe we could integrate it into plscope-utils. That would be cool. You may pass the statement here or a new issue in the plscope-utils repo. Whatever you like. Thanks!
