space lost at end of eq. after composite char about docx2tex HOT 4 CLOSED

I wasn't aware that authors feel confident enough to use whitespace in equations instead of a regular space. However, I know that anything an author can do will he do sooner or later. So thank you for you report, I've fixed this and whitespace at the start or end of an inline equation is now moved outside.

thanks for the fix, and I agree that main problem is the behavior of the authors: "Garbage In, Garbage Out".

I've just found a similar problem, where the space that separates math from text is in the footer of the math. I'm reporting it only for completeness: in the following file, the space before "and" and "are" is lost.
I don't know what to say... (sorry :-)

I think authors shouldn't expect that space at the end of a subscript should be rendered outside of the equation. Plus, it can cause side effects, where space is accidentally moved outside of the equation.
