If its possible it would be useful to in transmission to use separate default
download dir for each label. like in Utorrent.

So for example when I add a mp3 album to the torrent list with label: "mp3", the
download should start in default download dir/mp3

In the version of Transmission for Mac there's a "groups" feature. You can add
filters, like tracker address, to automatically sort torrents into groups, and
groups
can be assigned directories for finished torrents. This would be nice, but I'm
guessing it's a change that needs to be made by the transmission team.

(I use transmission-daemon on ubuntu server 9.10 64-bit)

Implemented filtering by download dir in r391. It can be used as torrent labels.

Would it be possible to have a local config file per torrent (or use the
infohash) so you can also put each torrent into multiple groups?

Sorry if I'm missing the point here, but I can't see any way to use labels or
filters in the current version. I'm using transmission 2.12.1 on busybox linux
2.6.33.2.

I have transmission set up so that torrents are initially downloaded into the
directory specified by incomplete_dir in settings.json, and moved to
download_dir when they are complete.

I'd like to be able to assign each torrent a label, e.g. movies, software, etc,
and when it completes have it moved to download_dir/label.
