error creating mount for propagated mount: no such file or directory about docker-volume-plugins HOT 9 CLOSED

I've been playing around with another mountedvolume.Driver extension to do loopback mounts, and hit this issue when attempting to run on CentOS 7 (Docker version 17.12.0-ce, build c97c6d6).
I was able to get it working by explicitly creating the propagatedMount directory (from config.json) in the rootfs.

What version of Docker do you have, I am on 18.03-ce (I so wish there was a way to do more logging on this one but I can't seem to see the output on the /var/log/messages all the time.

I also see you're not root from the $ prompt rather than # could that be another cause where it I or some part of docker may be expecting root? Do you have a folder called /var/lib/docker/plugins/ and it is writable by the docker daemon?

Trying to find a host with docker 18 on it to run this.

I wonder if it is some similar issue to moby/moby#33378 though that one has been resolved already. Or moby/moby#35829

If it works on Docker 18 on your end pls let me know I'll update the documentation saying it requires 18.03.

I"m guessing I need to set this to 18.03-1 at minimum then due to issues with Docker itself.
