  • What are frozen items?
  • Do these so called "frozen items" drop if I select the spell before?
  • Does it matter how well I do on the spell to get "Frozen items"? (as in, do I need to not get hit, not use a freeze, or do anything else to get frozen items)

Frozen Items are worth 4,000 points and drop whenever you kill enemies or deplete the healthbar of any boss' spellcard using your ice (in this case also applies to side fairies in the Stage 3).

Nothing else matters in regards to performance. If you just kill them with your basic shot, they'll drop Point Items instead (1,000 points).

The Frozen Items in this case do drop if you select the boss pattern before Fairy Overdrive (Non 4)
