That sounds like something on the memcached server level you need to tweak. There is nothing in this library to restrict size.
However, I would seriously reconsider your setup if you're regularly storing 5mb objects. 5mb is a lot of data/json/serialized objects so it sounds like you're storing files which would not be recommended.
