Hi, I'm not working in Meteor at all at the moment, so I won't have a chance to look at this in detail, but I suspect this is a versioning issue. Try checking the versions of npm and meteor packages installed on your system are the same as those in:
https://github.com/tomRedox/simpleCRM/blob/master/package.json
https://github.com/tomRedox/simpleCRM/blob/master/.meteor/versions
And if that doesn't work you could try using the same version of Meteor as listed here:
https://github.com/tomRedox/simpleCRM/blob/master/.meteor/release
This code was tested for Meteor 1.3 beta 12 and package versions that existed then (March 2016), it hasn't been tested with anything more recent than that.
