Pagination isn't supported by the Laravel query builder the way that you are trying to use it.
It is however very easy to roll your own with the skip()
and take()
methods and the Laravel Pagainator
class.
So you could run:
$users = Searchy::search('users')->fields('first_name', 'email')->query($value)->skip(10)->take(5)->get();
And you can use Laravel's Paginator class to keep track of pages and generate urls http://laravel.com/api/class-Illuminate.Pagination.Paginator.html
Even abstract it out to it's own method.
I hope that helps.

Hi,
Sorry to reopen this issue. The pagination is still not supported ? Btw, the relationships are supported ?
Thx

@rtransat, that is ok. Sorry for not replying sooner. You can use pagination by returning the Database Query Object instead of an array of results. Take a look at the readme under "Usage" (You want to use getQuery()
instead of get()
). http://laravel.com/docs/master/pagination
Relationships aren't supported. If you are doing complex searches, across tables then there are more robust solutions out there. Searchy is simple by design
I hope that helps!
