Hi, thanks for the comment. I wasn't aware of this issue cause I've never encountered any problems. Although not in the specs, the order of properties seems to be a de-facto standard. And according to the thread at google code I'm not the only one how relies on this.

But you are right, there is a chance that things can go wrong. The question is how to solve this problem. The best in my opinion would be the new Map object but it's not well supported by browsers. All other solutions lead to changes of the API. Next problem: I also use a lot of for-in-loops internally and there will be a bunch of code to change to make things "waterproof".
