It looks like this may be the cause of the problem I had installing toltec. My tablet is running

Yes that would be why. Also, toltec doesn't support 3.x yet, so please don't attempt to install it on 3.x without knowing what you are doing. Since rm2fb doesn't support 3.5 you will soft brick your device if you manage to get it installed.

Thanks. Is there any guesstimated 3.x support timeframe? The ReMarkable looks like it would be a fine device for storing pages of music on, and while PDFs are an adequate solution for now a bit of hacking around could improve it for that use.

We do not have an estimated time yet. We are waiting on ddvk-hacks to support it, and then we can start on the rest of the required work.

Without Iago, I'm struggling in my studies. I've currently switched to my Surface with OneNote, but I miss my ReMarkable.
