Hi @NateJBeck. Are you using the latest version of Bitters? In the file _variables.scss you'll find the variable:
https://github.com/thoughtbot/bitters/blob/master/app/assets/stylesheets/_variables.scss#L20
I know it's a bit tricky when things update like this. Hard to know what went wrong right! But we'll try to do this as seldom as possible.

Hey @Magnus-G - thanks for that. I installed bitters last week but you're right, my _variables makes no mention of $base-spacing. Must be an older version? Either way I'll reinstall. Cheers!
