Looking at the stacktrace, it doesn't seem to be a problem with the redmine_ldap_sync plugin.

Referring to the following two issues, it seems like it is not finding the named_scope :like that is defined on the Principal model:

Right now, I don't have the system to test it.
If I've got the time I'll download an appliance and try it on a clean install.

I'm using Redmine 1.4.4 and Rails 2.3.14, and patch doesn't work because it
requires newer version of Rails (3.x) and Redmine (2.x).
