I created the backend for a basic flashcard application using advanced JavaScript and Cloze constructors. The backend will essentially constitute an API that allows users to create two types of flashcards. Basic flashcards, which have a front ("Who was the first president of the United States?"), and a back ("George Washington"). Cloze-Deleted flashcards, which present partial text ("... was the first president of the United States."), and the full text when the user requests it ("George Washington was the first president of the United States.")

friendfinder

FriendFinder - a dating app that takes in results from users' surveys, and compares their answers with those from other users. The app will then display the name and picture of the user with the best overall match.

I used the GIPHY API to make a dynamic web page that populates with gifs of the user's choice. The app calls the GIPHY API and uses JavaScript and jQuery to change the HTML of the site.

Sequelized-Burger: Taking the Eat-Da-Burger app and sequelizing it. Whenever a user submits a burger's name, the app will display the burger on the left side of the page -- waiting to be devoured. Each burger in the waiting area also has a Chomp Da Burger! button. When the user clicks it, the burger will move to the right side of the page. The app stores every burger in a MySQL database, whether devoured or not.

train-scheduler

I created a train schedule application that incorporates Firebase to host arrival and departure data. This app retrieves and manipulates this information with Moment.js. This website provides up-to-date information about various trains, namely their arrival times and how many minutes remain until they arrive at their station. The user can enter a new train schedule, as well as delete it.

triviagame

I created The Beatles Trivia Game using JavaScript for the logic and jQuery to manipulate the HTML. Also used stylish CSS. Note: I still need to work on the Apple iOS mobile version of this app(doesn't quite work correctly).
