Empty MenuItem in Layer Init about cocos2d-iphone HOT 4 CLOSED

Why do you want and empty entry ? to move down the menu ?

Because I'm thinking of raising an exception when the value is empty (the 
texture
gets corrupted) and adding support to move the menu up/down.

I use it for both, to separate 2 menu entries, like:
Play
*empty space*
Quit

and to move the menu down

However i tried with a space (itemFromString@" ") and it works

fixed in r109

use [Menu setOffsetY: -20] to control the Y offset of the menu. Look at the 
MenuTest
example.

use @" " (with space) (as you're doing now) to insert a "separator".
