Testing on Safari on my Mac and iPhone it works - I don't have any of the translation issues that you describe. I'd suggest just tacking the alignment.

I do not have a modern version of Safari on my now ancient iPad to test this properly. On this version I have the following problems:

• contact form labels showing Contact.emailLabel etc for each field.
• tournament page not loading
• Unexpected token '.' appearing as an error on all pages. Is this a localisation issue with Safari?
• the same misalignment of the landing page text

Could you confirm if the above issues are also present for you? If any are, I would be tempted to create a generic 'Safari' issue. If not, then we can at least just target the modern Safari versions and tackle the alignment.

horizontal alignment should now be fine. I cannot fix the vertical alignment for some reason, and I hope it is just my version of safari. I will leave the branch intact in case someone finds a solution soon.
