i don't know why the postgres_db and postgres_user modules were hanging for me. I know they did something, but they stop after a certain point.

One change I'd like, actually: we should set the postgres version variable to null initially, and just default to the "latest". Only if someone sets the version variable should we use an exact version.

So, the fun thing about different operating systems is that they have different standards of where they like to install things. So I can't guarantee the postgres config files are in the same place every time. Maybe we could do something like

psql -c "SHOW config_file;"

Though I'd imagine we can tackle that for another time. No?

Fair enough. Just go with whatever is the easiest for now—even if you have to target specifically at Debian, or use the exact package name with the version. Not worth churning on.
