AWS no internet about simple-openvpn-server HOT 5 CLOSED

Make sure the FW rules are allowing inbound connections to port 443 and to 1194.

The problem was that the ISP restricted openvpn traffic from any ports. 2 data packets were sent after the connection and the incoming traffic was disconnected. Is there a way around this without using ssh tunneling?

You could use an alternative port for Open VPN other than 1194. That's in the configuration file for the server.

I have already changed the ports to alternative ones and more than once, it does not help. It's as if the ISP is blocking OpenVPN itself and not the ports. Because I can connect and there is no internet.
