Hi there!

I'm Ricardo Ávila, I'm from Brasília, Brazil. I have an MSc degree (2013) in Telecommunications and Computer Engineering from the Federal University of Ceará (UFC).

Currently, I'm pursuing a doctorate in Information Science and Technology at Université du Québec à Chicoutimi (UQAC). There I work under the supervision of Prof. Raphaël Khoury.

I'm an associate researcher in a research project in Information Security, in partnership with the University of Laval and La Capitale Insurance and Financial Services.
