Klout: scheduling of Twitter posts. Facebook is cross-posted from Twitter.

Seems a bit much to fully codify these things. What sort of codification do you envision?

Something that answers the question "The old social media guru got hit by a bus, what should I do with these accounts?"

  • Twitter: General tech audience. Post any Tessel-specific news or relevant IoT news, as well as ongoing events (livetweeting). Promote news from followers that is Tessel-related. Directly communicate with people who engage.
  • Vine: Short, amusing videos for engagement. Also showcasing ongoing events and projects. Reshare on Twitter.
  • Facebook: General tech audience. Post any Tessel-specific news or relevant IoT news, as well as events.
  • Instagram: Short, amusing pictures showcasing projects or team. Reshare on Facebook.
  • Youtube: Tutorials, recordings of meetings, and presentations. Shared to Twitter / Facebook.
  • Klout: Scheduling of Twitter posts, Facebook is cross-posted from Twitter.

etc. Keeping it simple.

Vines are generally posted to Twitter, Instagrams generally not. This is because Vines are generally demos, while Instagrams tend to just be glamour shots of Tessel with no real content.]

Tumblr: blog posts from within the team updating progress, talking about technical challenges, discussing other stuff we run into e.g. logistics and team dynamics, waxing lyrical on philosophies, speculating about the future. Backer emails are traditionally cross-posted here the next day.

Mailing lists: website signups tends to be big announcements. Backer emails are people who have bought Tessels (codified by Dragon backers/T1 backers/T2 backers) and they get more of a regular inside scoop/pre-emptive FAQ on announcements that might affect their hardware.

Some of this is actually codfied in docs like this but might be worth starting from scratch as those are old and I can't find the other ones

This is now codified in RESOURCES.md.
