It's something that would be good to have but we don't have any plans to do it at the moment because of the complexity involved. Once C++ objects can exist in Terra functions then Terra needs to handle things like invoking constructors/destructors, making direct/indirect method invocations, and even instantiating templates. Some of this stuff (such as destructors) make the semantics of Terra itself more complicated.

In the general case (minus LLVM interfacing and the C++ abi(s)), maybe the exotype system could be used to implement a library exposing templates and the specific OO flavor as Lua functions.
Inline assembly and deciding which C++/compiler-specific intrinsics to support is another issue, though.
