So clearly operating only off of this image is going to be limiting, but what I can gather is that if cleanup
is running, that means that you have query functions/getters that are settling (either successfully or failed). Cleanup is just a glorified finally {}

As for how much time it's taking for you to initially render, I can't say that I'm experiencing the same thing in any of the examples or in our apps. With that said, it's possible you're experiencing an edge case so more info would be helpful in figuring this out. A codesandbox would be even better that exhibits the problem.
