Installing bootable Debian sid fails with `depmod: 1: exec: depmod: not found` about mkosi HOT 5 CLOSED

@paulmenzel depmod needs to be installed on the host, not in the image.

It is installed, but not in the path. Doing export PATH=/usr/sbin:$PATH, it is found.

Indeed. After installing systemd-boot, I was able to build a Debian sid image. Thank you very much for your support, and your queued up improvements for these things.

No idea, how the /sbin not in PATH issue can be fixed on Debian systems.

I am going to leave the issue open, as it should be automatically closed when the merge/pull request gets accepted.

You should be able to modify your profile or if you just want to mkosi to look in there, you could use ExtraSearchPaths=
