Thanks for the investigation.
Alpha channel is not handled yet correctly in tinyexr. Will fix it soon.
would be that tinyexr only return the channels that are present in the file
I am considering to add API which return the image like that(as done in LoadDeepEXR)

At least now tinyexr returns 1.0 as an default alpha value. 578b552
