Hi @andrewweston...from your logs, it appears you are running in no-sandbox mode. In this mode, the nex node is not using firecracker, it is spawning the workloads directly on your machine. In order for this to work, you must add the agent to your path so that the nex node can find it when starting a workload. You shouldn't have to pull it from the rootfs, we build them for you and add them to the releases in Github.
The "Getting Started" assumes you are using the provided configuration, which defaults to sandboxed mode.
I will look at enhancing the docs to ensure it notes the agent must be in your path for no-sandbox mode. Thanks!
