Luckily @quantuminformation doesn't speak for the core team.

@atilkan Thanks for the report, we'll take a look at it and see what the best solution would be.

@quantuminformation No-one is interested and you have contributed nothing to this report, don't wade into issues just so you can use them as a soapbox for your personal opinions: it is obnoxious and unwelcoming. If you don't have anything constructive to add, then don't say anything at all.

I believe there are two relevant questions yet to be asked here:

  1. Which IE version was used to open the website? (I assume it's IE 11?);
  2. How other framework/lib websites behave in IE? (e.g. Angular, React, Vue, etc).

Since Svelte website is aimed at developers, its reasonable to expect the visitors to use modern browsers instead of IE. But I also feel there should be at least a warning in case any passerby happen to stumble on it with an older browser. It would be useful to check how other frameworks behave in this regard.

I don't want any support for IE, even support to say IE is not supported.

So many big enterprises will be forever stuck on ie11 while new companies springing up will superseed them. Do you think revolute are stuck on ie11?

Touche, but sometimes you have to say it how it will be or no one will change.

I can't imagine having to support ie11 for the duration of Win10.

I am not expecting the framework to support IE. I prefer not to. But the current look is not the best look.
Thanks @pngwn
