Well, I did some research. Here is what I've found so far.
This comes from native View iOS props.

Steps to reproduce on any View:

  • Add handler onChange to View;
  • Have react native modal covers the View;
  • Tap somewhere in modal;
  • onChange callback will be triggered with SyntheticEvent;

This strange behaviour comes from not well documented part.

/**
     * Callback that is called when the user taps a segment;
     * passes the event as an argument
     */
    onChange?: (event: NativeSyntheticEvent<NativeSegmentedControlIOSChangeEvent>) => void;

So, this bug only iOS specific
