@stymiee Thanks for your quick response! The change you've pushed to master works well, it's a cleaner version of what I did by commenting the if statement - so I'd say go ahead and tag a release.

Thank you for reporting this. I agree there is a better error message lurking in the response. I've pushed a change to the Master branch containing this change. Feel free to try this out and report any issues. If it looks good I will create a new minor release containing this change.
