You could do this, by creating a JSZip object with new JSZip(), and then using .add to add the data to the zip. You'll probably need to play with typed arrays to get the data into the correct format.

This can then be uploaded to your server with an XHR POST or PUT request[1].

You should be able to use the example from http://stuartk.com/jszip and combine it with the technologies above.
