Without grunt, we will just use --prod or --dev in npm commands

That should actually work with grunt as well. With grunt serve webpack is ran in dev mode, with grunt build it is prod mode. It works for JS already, so we should be able to get it working for css as well IMHO.

Still, this is one of the way how you can do this. 2 files are "recommended" - on webpack site they are also using 2 files

removing fork, forking again etc, takes too much time

I don't really understand. Why not create a new branche in your existing fork? Hit me up on Gitter if you need help with it, I'm a a git trainer 👍

We had a nice talk. I'm closing this PR. Webpack is ran with --prod for production builds, with --dev for local development.
