Hi @larzconwell, generally any feature that does not break existing functionality is welcome.
Some features are easy for me to add, others may require a pull-request. Internally node-foreman can be refactored, that's not a problem.
Can you provide an example of the .env file you would like to work?

My env file only has the following line
ENVIRONMENT=development
then my Procfile would have something like
redis: redis-server config/redis_$ENVIRONMENT.conf
I'd be willing to make a PR, just wanted to make sure the feature was welcome, and possible.

I don't mind adding this, but I do think a better approach is separate environment files.
Anyways, how would exports be resolved? I don't mind just flat out erroring, but I don't want anyone to be surprised by an export with odd behaviour.

Yeah I do have separate environment files one for development and one for production.
