Sample commands have been added in the description of the tool. What's not working for you?

I've just followed your instructions, copy past in 4.0 macro , then data , choose semicolon as delimiter finish then save.
there is no execution , I have checked with process hacker.
can you screenshot the different steps , thx for advance.

didnt work for me as well.
By copying the output from csv to xlm4.0, there will be some value pasted other than column A, and then if I do "text to column", some original value (other than column A) may be replaced.

Hi - this tool is working perfectly. Please look at your generated code more carefully. I expect you will notice it is using R1C1 notation, whereas the default notation in Excel nowadays is A1. This is easily changed from Excel Options > Formulas. To confirm it's working, right click the top cell and select 'Run'. Check you're using the auto open option otherwise. I hope this helps you.

Sorry it still not work with R1C1 style, nothing shows up.

python boobsnail.py Excel4ExecGenerator --cmd "powershell.exe -c calc.exe" --out boobsnail.csv

Hi - it looks to me as if you haven’t applied the delimiter property, you shouldn’t have those semi colons in your formula. Check the process for data to columns with semi colon delimiter.

This sounds like a copy error - I would say make sure you take the CSV, open in notepad or something, so you can be sure there’s no extra line breaks etc. There shouldn’t ever be content that is replaced - the delimiter will drop it all in a single column.
