How did you set the points? through the menu or by alt + e?

This is happening for me also. I set my points with alt + e. I'm running on a dedi server.

If i set up a track by alt + e the first time it puts A in screen, that stays "locked" the 2nd one is the B you see the line showing up from A to where you drive so line is behind you until you press alt + e again , so i actually think it is correct, pressing alt + e to set B gives line in front of me

It sounds normal and correct though it might seem weird that the line is "locked" and going "backwards" during setting up the track but is needed to create the line.
That is how I read OP and others their "bug" they found.

Yes the setup line functions as a distance/direction indicator.. but thats not the problem here.

If you check the screenshot he already created the track (check the blue lines). So he's driving forwards while the line is going backwards. Have a feeling it has todo with that JD he uses, so would like to know if OP can reproduce this issue with vanilla vehicles.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Set automatic working width
  2. Set A
  3. Set B
  4. Set A again

Alagoss avatar Alagoss commented on June 16, 2024

Can confirm this.

If you set A again via the menu after you've made a working track, the direction will be 'wrong'. Set a new B and it's normal again.
With the ALT + E toggle this doesn't happen.

Can this be happening because you don't automatically reset the track via the menu?

stijnwop avatar stijnwop commented on June 16, 2024

Big change I do not reset the track. Good catch!

Thanks for confirming and explaining the steps.
