Okay, let me try to replicate your issue. It has been a while since I ran Dimensional Halo.

Just wanted to report back that I was able to get this working for myself by taking a screenshot of my home button and replacing /images/buttons/home.png with it. This isn't an ideal solution, but it may work if anyone else finds themselves in the same spot.

When it got stuck, do you remember what screen the bot was at when you stopped it? Was the bot at the screen where it displays all the dropped loot, was it already at the Home/Main screen, etc.?

It seems to have completed Dimensional Halo successfully and was at the screen where it displays all the dropped loot and attempted to head back to the Home/Main screen. But it failed as it could not find the "Home" button down at the bottom bar of the game window and then got stuck in the loop.

Correct, it got stuck at the screen which displays dropped loot.

So the Dimensional Halo bit may have been a red herring. I'm having the same issue at the end of raids.

As you originally pointed out, it seems to be failing to find the Home button.

Yeah, that is super weird. Everything is fine on my end and I have the same screen resolution as you. Double-checking, but did you make sure to select the "medium" window size as stated in the instructions?

Also just double-checking again, but do you have the bottom bar enabled and what browser are you using?

I do have the bottom bar enabled, and I'm using Chrome.

I think you may be onto something with the window size. Unfortunately, the bot fails to recognize anything if I select "medium", but runs fine (barring this one issue) when I select "small". Until now I had assumed it was because of my screen resolution, so my plan was to try it in a VM tomorrow.

steve1316 avatar steve1316 commented on June 18, 2024

Alright, let me know how the VM goes. Unfortunately due to how the bot is structured, it is picky on its template matching. You can see what the bot "expects" both in size and in visuals what the Home button looks like by checking out /images/buttons/home.png and compare it with yours. If it is too big or too small, the bot is not equipped to account for that.

This bot is not the most ideal implementation, but a solution like yours will do nicely for now. Thank you for the effort.
