Could you add instructions on how to build the busybox binaries from source? It would be ideal and much easier to build if you integrated them with the NDK's ndk-build, putting all the source in a jni directory with an Android.mk file.

Also, I assume that the build and out dirs should be removed and added to .gitignore :)

So people will get a basic overview what the project does, how the source / codebase is different from the other variants ([1] [2] [3])

Depending on what the readme contains, this issue is perhaps related to the other two issues #1 and #2. 😉

Please add tune2fs into your busybox build, and set CONFIG_FEATURE_BLKID_TYPE option. Those are needed for Mounts2SD.

Don't they download the same bineries?

The play store has version 37, updated in December: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=stericson.busybox

But this repo only has up to version 25.

If you moved the source somewhere else, could you point me to it?

I choose a custom path for installation, and set the value "/data/bin" or "/data/bin/".

Toast message appears with the following;
"That path does not exist or is not valid!"

I have confirmed that the path does exist, and certainly is valid.

It would also be nice if it would create the path if it does not exist.

Purpose: with dm-verity now appearing on recent Nexus devices, it can be helpful to be able to maintain an unmodified system image.

In newest version of the app (v35), the instant I tap on Install, application crash. Looking at google play's comment section, problem is not related to a phone brand/model specifically, neither is related to android version since there's users with kitkat, lollipop and marshmallow.
