that's one of the disadvantages of these kind of projects, but it's worth all that space (and please note, a lot of those modules are just for development, once you export this to production the size of the project becomes considerably smaller)

I see.
I was just wondering why so many useless modules.
Maybe the product of a lot of tries and then never delete them.

I haven't tried this myself, but they say it works for this problem (it reduces the size of node_modules by symlinking some stuff), maybe you'll want to take a look :)
