Please check out the Changelog after updating to the latest version of arc_ecto.
Similar to Ecto, cast_attachments is now a function of arity 3 that does not accept required fields. The usage of validate_required is preferred.

@stavro After removing the required params, I now have a new error:

FYI: The README needs updating. It still reflects the old API.

@nicholaswyoung Is that an error within Arc? I don't know where a file function is defined

I found it. Phoenix uses file_input instead of file. That was my mistake.
