I neglected to mentioned that my tablet -- like many of the 7"+ tablets that
will be coming out soon (but a lot more expansive than mine :-) does not have a
Dpad, so scrolling by fingers is the only way to navigate the pdf files.

A bit more detail, in case that matters: the tablet in question is a hacked
Pandigital ereader, available from your local Bed Bath & Beyond (!). It runs
2.0; the hack simply removes the custom skin and allow users to use the native
2.0:

There is now a user scripts that provide 'soft buttons' -- buttons on the touch
screen -- for "back", "menu" and "home". But no Dpad :-(

the next release.
