The results of a Cube query are delivered as JSON and the input to Crossfilter is JSON. I'm not sure there's anything more to it?

Regardless, please post on Stack Overflow or the Cube Google Group for questions like this. If you try it and run into bugs feel free to post back here.

Where did this issue land?

I would like retrieve the entire data value for an event without explicitly identifying which fields to include in my response set.

Something like this is desired:
http://localhost:1081/1.0/event?expression=eventtype(*).eq(subType,'yo')

from crossfilter.
