Discarding any references to the old crossfilter object should be sufficient to allow garbage collection.

Just to be sure, this includes the references to dimensions, and the embedded data within, correct?
I think I may have a memory leak somewhere in my code that is causing the browser to not release large chunks of memory.
I use D3 and Crossfilter to display a time series graph with multi-filtered dimensions. (I incorporated union filter code by @jasondavies )
Is there a memory profiling tool that you recommend that could help find the problem?

If you are doing anything sophisticated creating groups dynamically you might be running into the issue I reported here:
