indexmaker

IndexMaker is a tool I made while working at Fuji Film Graphics Systems. The tool makes use of the Java version of the IText library for PDF processing. In order to integrate maintenance guide PDF files for Fuji Film products with an existing instruction manual, a new table of contents had to be created to reflect new page numbering. In addition each item in the table of contents had to properly link to the first page of the supplemented maintenance manual. Since this was a frequent and time consuming task to do by hand (and it requires purchase of Adobe Acrobat standard), I created this tool to automate the process.
