@bhilbert4 Where do we stand on this one? I know we had some trouble with the original pull request (#26), do you plan to open a new one?
We may find this software useful more sooner than later, as we could generate a bunch of preview images for the files in our test filesystem, and they could be used by @laurenmarietta and @gkanarek to incorporate into the web application.

The code is essentially done, and I've tested with a few different files. I'll look into creating a new PR later today or tomorrow. The last I checked, my new branch was still including changes to files other than those I created, so I want to make sure that is cleared up.
