It seems the images you're uploading to Amazon do not have their ratios
preserved. I
don't know what the best course of action would be here.

yup it seems the resizes occur, but the ratios are not observed. on my list;
we're
using some s3 plugin for this, need to see how it can be tweaked

Well, now its a client issue -- we should be scaling the image appropriately.

poorly, for
example.
