Config admin class throught yaml file about sonataadminbundle HOT 4 CLOSED

You cannot do that from a yaml and use all features provided by the Admin class. Defining information is very easy inside an Admin class : using properties or using configureFormField.

If the configuration is set from an external configuration, it will be harder to find where configuration is declared.

I understand your point but I am pretty sure it could be helpful in 80% of uses.

ATM AdminBundle works very well from my side, but it is not as friendly as symfony 1 was. In my opinion we should thinking about make it easier to install/use.

But I may be alone in thinking that ?

The AdminBundle does not work like the Admin Generator, there is no code generation. More over the field definitions (list, filter and form) are lazy loaded to avoid useless overhead while loading the Admin class. I am pretty sure you are not alone thinking about that, but the Admin Generator from sf1 was bad at first. Just try to avoid thinking too much "symfony1" when you use "symfony2" ;)

I guess you're right.

I will continue to use it and think about how it could be easier/faster to setup without looking on sf1 :)
