@GoldenHeartVA are you installing the distribution on a server or using docker? The first thing that comes to mind when seeing the error log, is that the database server might not be accessible. Are you using a database instance on a separate server or is it running on the same server? Can you access the database from the instance where you are trying to install SolidInvoice?

I am installing this distro on a server not using docker. The DB server is localhost and is accessible, I know this as when I would make changes to the server to increase thresholds I would have to log in to the DB to drop the tables to attempt to try again. Apologies for the short reply please let me know if you need any other information.

Running into the same issue here - SolidInvoice is able to connect to the DB as when I omit putting in a password, it provides an error saying that the user needs a password to access MySQL
