Model based Forms throw error in ngDoCheck about ngx-bootstrap-multiselect HOT 4 CLOSED

For those having this issue with model driven forms, try setting the formcontrol value to empty array.

this.form.controls['cities'].setValue([]);

from ngx-bootstrap-multiselect.

Hi, I had the same issue as you @bUKaneer

I'm using angular 2 final version and multiselect 0.2.2

You can set the multiselect with ngModel if you set it on standalone mode:

<ss-multiselect-dropdown [options]="myOptions" [texts]="myTexts" [settings]="mySettings" [(ngModel)]="selectedOptions" [ngModelOptions]="{standalone: true}" (ngModelChange)="onChange($event)"></ss-multiselect-dropdown>

And update your value of your formControl on your onChange() callback using patchValue or setValue (updateValue() is deprecrated since RC4+)

onChange(value){
    form.controls['myControls'].patchValue(value);
}
