Instead of just doing this for turrets, we could highlight the armaments you have selected so they're easier to see.

This would help with the confusion some have with missiles and torpedoes as well - those that shoot only from the sides.

Next update, turrets wont turn to restricted angles.

Maybe the turret azimuth effect would only show if your mouse cursor is within the center control ring. This would reduce clutter most of the time and would be useful if you needed it.
