OWNERSHIP won't work in the snowflake_grant_privileges_to_role resource. We have plans to introduce another way of transferring ownership. For now, I can only recommend using snowflake_role_ownership_grant (it's a deprecated resource and will be removed in the next major version but it can work as a workaround available atm). Soon, we should publish a doc about granting ownership and what are our plans regarding it. I'll ping you here once it will be available.

Do you mean snowflake_task_grant?

Yeah, sorry. I meant snowflake_task_grant. It should work with ownership privilege. If not there's also an option to use unsafe execute resource which is used to execute raw SQL (in case snowflake_task_grant would also fail)

As there's nothing more we can do here, I'll close the issue. Soon, we should start the design/implementation process for ownership-granting resource that should resolve this issue.
