Hi @iheng!
Sloth is an SLO generator. You create a spec where you reference the Prometheus metrics that will be used for your SLOs and it will generate N Prometheus recording and alerting rules that implement this SLOS.
We could say that it's an abstraction layer on top of the SLO framework and Prometheusmetrics/alerting system.
Try to get this working.
- Select some metrics that you already have on your Prometheus (e.g generated by some service/library).
- Create a Sloth SLO manifest with the getting-started guide: https://sloth.dev/introduction/
- Pick the generated Prometheus rules (the output of sloth) and set them on a Prometheus
- Set the grafana dashboard.
